Checking and replacing the fuel shut-off solenoid valve

Check valves

Connect the valve is dismantled to a voltage source 12 (positive (+) wire to the terminal and the ground cable (-) to the valve body). The rod must be retracted into the housing. If not, replace the valve.

Solenoid valve on the fuel pump of high pressure feed opens at ignition. It should be checked if the engine does not start or continue to run after switching off the ignition.

Turn on and turn off the ignition. It will hear the response of the solenoid valve.

If the solenoid valve does not work, check with a voltmeter, the voltage is applied when the ignition. If pressure is absent, get open on the drive circuitry and eliminate defects.

If a defect is found on, remove the drive and remove the valve.

Place the new valve gasket and torque to 25 Nm Connect the cable to the valve.
