Car Mazda-626 is equipped with in-line 4-cylinder diesel engine with water cooling, the establishment of a cross. Cast iron cylinder block, cylinder head made of aluminum. The valves open an overhead camshafts. Valve clearance is adjusted by means of shims and should be checked and adjusted if necessary within the framework of the service, when a knock at the valve assembly or after engine repair. On some models, a toothed belt camshaft also actuates the high pressure fuel pump.
