Toothed belt, setting the valve timing




Removing the damper motor


Removing the mount back casing of a gear belt

Remove the bracket (1). Loosen the nut (4), tension the belt.

The weakening of the tension of the toothed belt

Turn the tension roller as far as possible with a screwdriver (1) to the right and tighten the nut (2) of the tensioning roller.

Installation of suspension

Install the engine mount tightening (A) with a torque of 115 Nm and the nut (B) with a torque of 90 Nm

Wear toothed belt

Adjusting the timing should normally be made after the repair work, which was filmed at the toothed belt or disassemble the engine. When checking the setting the timing should be carried out all the steps except for replacing the timing belt.

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the negative cable of weight from the battery.

2. Lift the car and remove the right front wheel.
3. Remove the bottom engine cover on the right wheel arch.
4. Remove the V-belt.
5. Lock the engine. To lock the engine include 5th transfer and let the assistant presses the brake pedal. Unscrew the crankshaft pulley.
6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
7. Remove the spark plugs.
8. crank the engine crankshaft, tighten the hand brake and set the transmission to neutral. With ratchet and head cranked shaft from the right-hand wheel arch.


A warning

In no case did not turn a cranked shaft for a wheel of a camshaft through zubchatoremennuyu transmission.


9. Loosen the bolt of a tension roller and a tension roller press with a screwdriver on the toothed belt to the easing of tension the timing belt. Again tighten the bolt of a tension roller.
10. Remove the right and left casing of a gear belt.
11. Remove the timing belt. After that, the gears do not turn.

A warning

Before removing again to check that the label on the wheel of a camshaft with the edge of the cylinder head, correct if necessary.

If you want to rotate the camshaft at the removed gear belt, any piston should not be in the TDC. Otherwise, you may cause serious damage to the pistons and valves.


12. If you want to rotate the camshaft, set in advance all the pistons at half their speed. To do this, put the chalk down on the wheel of the crankshaft mark.
13. Before applying the label, set the 1st cylinder TDC. To do this, turn the crankshaft to match the mark (1) on a camshaft cogwheel (2) with a label on the front board. Then, turn the wheel of the crankshaft 1/4 turn (90 ?�) to the left or right. The label must face is now the left or right.

Setting
A warning

Toothed belt bend or fold. Always replace contaminated, damaged or worn belts. Check the uniformity and ease of movement of the tension roller.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check belt wear.
2. Put the toothed belt. Upon application of an old belt to be superimposed in accordance with drawing an arrow in a rotational direction.

A warning

Make sure the belt is well covered rollers and does not sag.



Tension

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the bolt of a tension roller so that the roller can move to a gear belt under spring force.
2. Turn the crankshaft two turns clockwise until the alignment marks of the camshaft and the front of the board. Once again, make sure that all the labels are the same.
3. Tighten the tension wheel with a force of 45 Nm
4. Turn the crankshaft two turns in the direction of rotation of the engine and re-check the adjustment.
5. The length of the belt between the rollers of the water pump and camshaft should cave in on 10,5-12,0 mm from the efforts of a 10-kg (strong pressure with your finger), if it is not, loosen the bolt tensioner pulley and tighten the belt again.
6. Install and secure with a force of 10 Nm the right and left casings of a gear belt.
7. Replace and secure the damper motor.
8. Put the crankshaft pulley with the washer and tighten the bolts with a force of 30 Nm
9. Replace the spark plugs.
10. Install and tighten the V-belt.
11. Replace the cover on the right wheel arch.
12. Connect the negative mass in the battery.
13. If there are clocks, set the time and set the radio security code.
