Lifting points and support: on-board vehicle jack

A warning

When working under the vehicle, if there is no car-lift platform, install it on two or four goats stable. In no case do not operate under the car if he is not insured or if it is supported only by automobile jack. Life threatening!

Lift the car only in the unloaded condition.

Using a rubber or wooden lining, can be avoided by raising the vehicle damage the base of his body. In no case can not raise or prop up a car engine or a gearbox.

Secure wedges standing on the support surface of the wheel against their rolling forward or backward. Do not rely on the parking brake system, since some repairs it should be disinhibited.

Raise the vehicle on a flat rigid surface.

By acting with a screwdriver as a lever, remove the protective cover on the mounting hole for the jack.

Carefully insert the positioning pin in the jack insertion tube spar.

Install the vehicle jack vertically even on slopes.

Lift the front of the front axle by installing the lift on the crossbar of the frame (6) (see. Fig. Lift the car in the workshop).

Raise the rear, setting a lift on the rear axle crosspiece (see. Fig. Lift the car in the workshop).

The reference points are the front and rear lower insert tubes for automotive on-board equipped with a jack and ebonite shock absorbers (see. Fig. Car lift platform, shell box, and lift the car in the workshop).


A warning

Support points on the longitudinal members may be used to lift a side of a vehicle with hoist workshop. At the same time set the car jack under ebonite dampers.
