The hydraulic brake system consists of a pedal-operated master cylinder, power brakes and disc brakes front and rear wheels. The brake system has two circuits. One of the circuits covers the front wheels, the second - the rear. Failure of one of the circuits, for example due to a leak, the car can be slowed by using only the second circuit. The pressure in both circuits is created in a dual master cylinder by pressing on the brake pedal.

Brake fluid reservoir located on the master cylinder brake fluid and provides the entire system.

Power brakes accumulates part obtained by the engine vacuum suction. Because diesel is not formed vacuum suction sufficiently, the model with a diesel engine for the brake system have a special pump vacuum. In this case, by the vacuum force is transmitted to the brake through the respective valve.

Front disc brakes equipped with a disk mechanism with a floating caliper. In this case, only one piston is required to squeeze the two brake pads to the brake disc. On the rear axle brakes are fixed brace, which provide the required deceleration. To press the brake pads in the case of machinery with fixed brackets require two pistons.

The parking brake is activated by a cable, and acts only on the rear wheels. Since the disc brakes are not well suited as parking, the rear wheels in addition there are two brake drum, built-in brake discs. Brake drums employed solely for parking.

When cleaning brake dust flying device wear pads that are harmful to health. Therefore, when cleaning the brakes, take care not to inhale brake wear. The brake pads are part of the "authorization to operate a vehicle in these conditions," moreover, they differ depending on the model. We recommend using only original brake pad.

Note: after the installation of new linings must be earned extra. During the break-in (200 km) without the need to avoid sudden braking.

Work on the braking system requires thorough cleanliness and precision of technology. If the experience is missing, contact the shop.

A warning

When braking, especially when cornering, you feel a different pedal, check the brake discs for lateral runout on the outer diameter. Excessive lateral runout can be caused by an increased bearing play. Therefore, first check the play and, if necessary, install it. Then if you do not feel enough improvement, replace the brake disc.
