Automatic control of the oil level

Built-in oil sensor
Fig. 4.33. Built-oil sensor: 1 - the oil level sensor; 2 - a float with a magnet; 3 - connector; 4 - the crankcase; 5 - check hole with a bimetallic plate

Pilot light oil level on the dashboard lights up if the oil level is in the lower third of the oil dipstick. to avoid false alarm, used with signal transmission delay. Furthermore, the oil must be sufficiently fluid. A sensor on the side casing (Fig. 4.33) monitors the engine oil level. Bimetallic strip at the bottom of the oil level sensor opens only at 60 ? C. Only then can change the oil level in the funnel-shaped sensor. This plate prevents the filing of erroneous signals during sharp turns.
When the ignition warning lamp lights up weakly (check bulb) and goes out when the engine is started.
