Oil pressure

For reliable operation, the engine oil pressure should be appropriate. Too cold and very viscous oil may be too much pressure. In this case, a pressure reducing valve opens the bypass line and sends the oil back to the oil pump. The oil cycle is maintained.
Pilot light illuminates when oil pressure Low oil when the engine components receive little grease. This happens if you pass a high speed turn on the car with a low oil level. The oil pump sucks oil instead of air. Oil pressure drops sharply, which could lead to serious damage to the bearings.

PRACTICAL ADVICE
Burned oil pressure warning lamp
If, after a quick ride on the highway or a mountain road at idle control light flashes of oil pressure, it is a signal that the oil pressure dropped because of too high a temperature and as a result, are too low viscosity oil. This is not a problem if the addition of the gas light goes out.
If the oil pressure warning lamp lights up:
1. Stop immediately and switch off the engine.
2. Check the oil level.
3. If a little oil, add it. Check whether lights up again warning lamp.
4. Have the car in the workshop.
