Changing the oil and oil filter



When replacing the oil, change the oil filter. Only install a filter corresponding to the engine of your car!

A WARNING
Hot oil may cause burns. When unscrewing the drain plug, do not remove it abruptly to avoid getting your fingers on hot oil coming under pressure

SEQUENCE OF WORK
"15 000 km of 12 months."
1. Stop the engine and let it cool for 10 minutes.
2. Place chocks under the wheels of the car.
3. Place a collecting vessel under the oil cap.
4. Remove the oil filter cover with the key SW36.

5. Remove the oil filter cover (Fig. 4.35).

6. Remove the oil filter (Fig. 4.36).

7. Remove the lower crankcase (Fig. 4.37).

8. Remove the oil drain plug (Fig. 4.38).
9. Drain the oil completely outstretched capacity. If the vehicle has been raised on the jack only in front, lower it to merged the remaining oil. Drain accelerate the open mouth of the Gulf oil.
10. Good, clean and check the oil drain plug and sealing washer.
11. After the oil drains completely, screw again the drain plug (if necessary - with a new sealing washer) and tighten it with a torque of 25 Nm.
12. Lower the car.
13. Insert the new filter into the housing.
14. Screw the cover with a new gasket and tighten.

15. Fill in oil (Fig. 4.39).
16. Start up the engine for a short time until it turns off the lamp of emergency pressure of oil - which means that the oil filter is filled and went on line.
17. Stop the engine and wait 5 minutes, until the oil to drain into the crankcase.
18. Check the oil level.
19. Check whether the oil leaking from the filter or from the drain plug.
20. Replace the crankcase.
