Operation of ABS / ASR / BAS / ESP

When a fault (for example, wire break) or low on-board voltage (below 10.5 V) operates the safety switch in the electronic control unit on and off system ABS, which is displayed by fire of control lamp ABS yellow in the instrument cluster. Systems ASR and ESP (if installed) are also disabled. Normal braking system continues to work. When braking the car behaves as if he had not been equipped with the system ABS.
If during movement control lamp BAS / ASR and BAS / ESP, in these systems, there is a malfunction.
If during movement control lamp AVS, proceed as follows:
1. Stop motion, stop the engine and then empty it.
2. Check the voltage on the network if it is below 10.5 V, charge the battery.
If the warning light illuminates AVS beginning of the trip, and then goes off, it means that the system voltage at first it was low, but increased during the trip from the generator. In this case, perform the following work:
1. Check the fixture and contact terminals on the battery.
2. Place the vehicle on supports, remove wheels, check the electrical wires leading to sensors for external damage. If no fault is found, then further testing should be carried out in the workshop. The car is equipped with electronic self-test, so all errors are automatically stored in the memory storage device.
