Parking brake system

With the parking brake is prevented arbitrary displacement of the car at a stop. The parking brake is controlled through a system of ropes and acts on the rear wheels. Since the disc brakes are not well suited to serve as a parking brake on the rear wheels additionally installed drum brakes. The rear brakes are shaped such that their inside is room for drum brakes. Drum brakes are activated only a foot parking brake lever. When the driver presses the parking brake pedal, the front brake cable is tensioned. It leads to an automatic equalization of the drive cables. From the equalizer for each rear brakes laid a brake cable. By pulling the rope brake pads unclenched drive arm in the direction of the walls of the brake drum - the inhibition of the rear wheels.
