Removal and installation of the upper arm



Details of the installation of the upper control arm front suspension


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of the upper control arm front suspension shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove a corresponding forward wheel.
  3. Remove the shock absorber (see. Section Check non-return valve).
  4. Release of the lock on the knuckle brake line.
  5. With extractor, release of the lever (6), upper ball joint and tie the knuckle to the fixed elements of the suspension.
  6. Remove the upper arm (6) of the vehicle frame.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - the final tightening of fasteners of the lever is made after the car lowering to the ground.
  8. Finally, make adjustment of suspension geometry.
