Details of installation of longitudinal stretching rear suspension


PERFORMANCE ORDER

All the self-locking nuts and bolts must be replaced without fail!

  1. Details of installation of longitudinal stretching the rear suspension shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the rear wheels.
  3. On models equipped with xenon headlights, disconnect from the right extensions (97) traction control level landing (120a).
  4. models 163.174 (ML 55 AMG) raise additional fuel tank above the rear subframe.
  5. Using a stripper, release the ball joint stretching from the hub assembly.
  6. Pre marking the installation position of the cam with respect to bolt the subframe, remove stretch (97) of the latter. Assess the ball joint (see. Section Checking the ball joints knuckle), in case of need make replacement.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - make sure that when tightening fasteners Bridge held a strictly horizontal position. Track correctness of combination caused during dismantling tags.
