Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the gear (50). Drain the oil from the gearbox.
2. Secure the gear in a vice.
3. Remove the back cover (54).

4. Remove the retaining ring (30) on both flanges of drive shafts (33).

5. Remove the drive shaft flange (33).

6. Extract the left and right radial seals (32a).

7. Remove the retaining rings (29).
8. Insert the pin (046) for the differential gears on the right side, and then the differential so that it touched the left side of the gearbox housing. Remove both the outer ring (11) and roller bearings from the gearbox housing.

9. Remove the differential (13) of the gearbox.

10. Remove the two inner rings (11b) tapered roller bearing of the differential (13).

11. Loosen and remove the bolts (13a) securing the ring gear.
12. Remove the ring gear (47a) with a differential (13).
13. Loosen and remove the nut (40) securing the flange (41).
14. Remove the flange (41).
15. Remove the drive pinion (47) from the gearbox.
16. Extract the seal (42) from the gearbox.
17. Remove the bearing inner ring (43d).
18. Remove outer bearing rings (46b) and (43e) from the gearbox.
19. Remove the gasket (45).
20. Remove the sleeve (44) with seal (48) with the driving gear.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check all the parts for wear and, if necessary, replace them.
2. Check the pinion gear (47) and driven gear (47a) for compliance with the numbering.

The assembly and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Press in the bearing inner ring (46a) to the pinion gear (47).
2. Calculate the thickness of the lining (45) and insert it into the gear case.
3. Install the bearing outer ring (46b), (43e) in the gear housing.
4. Install the plug (44) with gaskets (48) on both sides of the pinion gear.
5. Install the drive pinion (47) in the gearbox (50).
6. Install the bearing inner ring (43d) on the drive pinion, and press-fit them together with radial shaft seal (42).
7. Install the flange (41) on the pinion gear.
8. Tighten the nut (40).
9. Adjust the friction torque in the bearing pinion.
10. Check the play pinion.
11. Install the driven gear (47a) for the differential (13). For this it is necessary to heat the driven gear to a temperature 75-85 ? C.
12. Press in the bearing inner ring (11b) on the differential.
13. Further assemblage is carried out in reverse order.
14. Check and adjust the axial clearance of the flange.
15. Attach the back cover (54).
16. Remove the gearbox from the grip.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the gear (50).
2. Pour oil. Oil volume: 1.2 liters.
3. Replace the breather (55) on the back cover (54).

Technical data:

Bearing frictional torque pinion (new tapered roller bearings) 215-245Nm.
Tolerance of the adjustment parameter at the end of the pinion: -0.02 / + 0.01 mm.
The gap between driving and driven pinion 0.08 -0.014 mm.
The axial clearance between the flange and the differential housing: 0.03 - 0.3 mm.
