Removing and installing center console

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Open the cover of the ashtray, press forward on the insert and release it. Remove the ashtray insert.

3. Use a screwdriver to press the locking strip (arrows in the figure) on the left and the right, release the ashtray housing (1) and remove it. At the same time remove the body of the ashtray cover.

4. Carefully disunite connector Light Ashtray. The lamp can be easily broken.
5. Remove the ashtray from the center console.

6. Using a plastic wedge, for example, HAZET 1965-20 remove the center console box protective cover (1) the gear lever / selector.

7. Selector AT: Disconnect the plug from the back side of the frame protective cover from the strip switches.
8. Turn the knob counterclockwise (2) and remove the lever / selector.

9. Disconnect jerks cover (1) of the lever / selector of the two holders clamps.

10. Pull the cover forward and remove from the guide of the center console.
11. Depending on the model, disconnect the connector on the reverse side of the cover from the strip switches.
12. Remove the cover of the center console.

13. Remove the two screws (1).

14. Remove the side cover (2) on the right and left tunnel console.
15. Turn ½ turn arranged for the screw cap (3) (2 pcs.) And remove the central console.

16. Slide the back cover (1) over the cigarette lighter in the center console. (4) - a large pocket.

17. Use a screwdriver to disconnect the holder cans (2).
18. Gently push the small pocket (3) from the outside, tilt it to the side and out of the center console.
19. Remove the support for the cigarette lighter from its holder, press the back and disunite a socket, as described in Section Removal and installation of the cigarette lighter.

20. Remove the two screws (1) under the cigarette lighter. At AT model 722.6 self-stopped bolts during installation must be replaced by new and adjusted shift rod.

21. Loosen the center armrest and fold it up.

22. Remove the carpet in a large pocket (1) and remove the screws located underneath (2).

23. Lift the back of the center console and remove it from the floor.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
2. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. Enter the code of the radio and set the time on the clock.
