Removing and installing heater controls, air conditioning

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Remove the top of the center console, refer to the appropriate section.

3. Disconnect the connector (1) on the back of the console lid heater controls and air conditioning (2).

4. Press out the locking tabs and remove the control unit (2) from the cover of the console.

1. Place the control unit on the back of the console lid and secure.
2. Dock connector unit.
3. Replace the cover the top of the center console, refer to the appropriate section.
4. Connect the earth cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.

When installing a new control unit must be configured motors drive ventilation flaps in the new block. For this purpose, the diagnostic tool is used.
