Removing and installing vents



The air channels, nozzles and deflectors

1 - Air vents in the dashboard
2 - vents in the center console
3 - Left vents
4 - Right vents
5 - Ventilation channels in the rear
6 - Ventilation channels in the center console

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.


2. Using a plastic wedge or flat knife, remove the cover over the air vents and remove clips (arrows in the figure) from the holders. (1) - resistant front foot.

3. Depending on the equipment disunite connector block parking assistance or speaker.

4. Remove the 4 screws (arrows in the illustration) and remove the vent nozzle (1) from the instrument panel.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
2. Attach a weight cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.


Vents in the center console

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Press the right screwdriver (2) to the lower retaining hooks (1) both vents. At the same time, tilt the deflector up to the end and release.

2. Remove the screws behind the plate (1) deflectors.

3. Remove the screwdriver top locking hooks at both baffles and deflectors tilt all the way down.

4. Use a screwdriver (2) through the slot into the groove of the locking tab (1).

5. Press the tab (1) down and remove the first deflector.
6. Similarly remove the second deflector, and remove two vent from the ventilation duct.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert the vents in the channel so that the guide pin went to the reception in the center of the deflector.
2. Fix the deflectors.
3. Release the deflector and tilt upward. Enter the screws through the slot and screw.


Left Side vents

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the fuse box cover at the side of the instrument panel, refer to Section relays and fuses.
2. Remove the group switches to the left of the control panel, refer to Section Removal and installation of the group switches to the left of the control panel.

3. Remove the 2 screws (1) securing the vents.

4. Remove the screws and squeeze the lower part of the dashboard (2), as described in Section Removal and installation of the bottom of the dashboard.

5. Press the screwdriver left to lock the hooks and tilt the baffle all the way down. Enter a screwdriver (2) through the slot, press the locking tabs (1) down and remove the deflector from the ventilation duct.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert the deflector in the ventilation duct, fix and secure the screws.
2. The further installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal.


Right Side vents

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the screws and push down the glove compartment, as described in Section Removal and installation of the glove compartment.

Further disassembly corresponds to the same operation for the left side vents.

2. Unscrew the deflector.
3. Press the right screwdriver to lock the hooks and tilt the baffle all the way down. Enter a screwdriver (2) through the slot, press the locking tabs (1) down and remove the deflector from the ventilation duct.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert deflector into the channel, lock and secure the screws.
2. The further installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal.
