Removing and installing strut



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Mark a paint position relative to the front wheel hub. This allows the assembly to establish balance the wheel in its former position. Loosen the wheel bolts before jacking the car. Lift the front of the car, put it on supports and remove the front wheel.
2. Disconnect the speed sensor and brake pad wear on the strut.

3. Remove the nut (3) and disconnect the tie rod (2) from the strut (1).

Do not damage the dust cap Grip wrench ball pin (4) connecting rod.

4. Remove the 2 bolts (4) strut (1) to the steering lever and remove the bolts.

5. Remove the nut (5) and remove the screw (6).
6 Secure the spring strut from the fall after the removal of the top fastening.

7. Remove the nut (7) and remove the spring strut at the top of the support (6).

When removing the left strut after disconnecting windshield washer tank and unclip the hose connection.

8. Remove the washer and the stop (8) and remove the spring strut down from the wheel arches.

It does not damage the brake hose.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully insert the spring strut via the wheeled support in the arch.
2. Replace the palm and washer.
3. Tighten the top nut to 60Nm.
4. Secure the spring strut to the steering knuckle. At the same time, insert the upper bolt so that the bolt head, looking in the direction of movement, looking forward.
5. Then tighten the top nut first (5) 200nm torque, while holding the bolt from turning, and then the bottom bolt (4) 110nm torque, refer to illustration 3.4.
6. Secure the connecting rod in the strut of a new self-locking nuts and washers point 40nm.
7. Attach the front wire speed sensor and brake pad wear.
8. Replace the windshield washer fluid reservoir when he was shot, and secure by turning the release lever.
9. Replace the front wheel so that coincided marks put at removal. Preliminary grease with a thin layer of bearing grease centering the belt drive wheel on the hub. Bolts do not grease the wheels. Rusty bolts replace. Tighten the screws. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 110 nm.
10. If the strut replaced by a new one, make a measurement of geometrical parameters of the suspension.
