Removal and installation of the expansion tank



Petrol models

Details of installation of the expansion tank in the gasoline models and diesel models with engine series 628 (1 of 2)

1 - Ventilation hose (2 pcs)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  2. Disconnect the two vent hose (1).
  3. Remove the hose of the cooling path (2).
  4. Remove the bolts (3).
  5. Lift the expansion tank (4) and release it from the rubber pads (5).
  6. Disconnect the electrical wiring from coolant level sensor (6).
  7. Remove the expansion tank (4).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order.
  9. Finally, check the cooling system for signs of leaks.

Diesel models

M612

1 - Ventilation hoses
2, 7 - Hose cooling path
3 - Bolt
4 - Expansion tank

5 - Rubber feet
6 - Connector wiring coolant level sensor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove protection crankcase.
  2. Proceed in accordance with the instructions given in paragraphs 1 to 9.

M628

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On the diesel engine equipped with a series of 628, the expansion tank is mounted as well as on petrol models (see. Above).
