Verifying the installation of ignition timing on the petrol models



Checking the ignition timing on the petrol models


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Corresponding illustrative material is presented in the illustration Setting up the base camshaft petrol engine M112 / 113 and the illustration above, which include all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the cylinder head cover (see. Illustration details the installation of covers of heads of cylinders on gasoline engines M112 / 113 (for example, M112)).
  3. On models equipped with an air pump otboltite combination valve (right head), - a valve gasket must be replaced without fail.
  4. Check the ignition timing (see. Specifications).
  5. Expand the engine in position 40 ?� after top dead center of the piston of the first cylinder (see. Section Checking and adjusting the base camshaft).
  6. Check the basic position of camshafts (see. Section Checking and adjusting the base camshaft).
  7. On models equipped with M112 engine, check the basic position of the balancing shaft (see. Section Checking the reference position of the balancing shaft (only engines M112 and 628)).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order.
