Starting the engine from the auxiliary power

When starting the engine from an external source should be aware of the need to fulfill the following requirements:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before connecting the auxiliary battery, make sure the ignition key is turned to the "OFF" (Off.).
  2. Turn off all lights, heater and other electrical loads.
  3. Take care of protecting your eyes. It is best to use protective glasses.
  4. Make sure that the auxiliary battery is designed for the same rated voltage as the battery of your car.
  5. Two cars in any case should not touch each other!
  6. Make sure the transmission is set to neutral transfer (Manual transmission) or "P" (AT).
  7. If the auxiliary battery is not maintenance free battery type, remove the vent caps and cover the vents with a cloth.

Connect the red wire of a large section of the set to start the vehicle from an external source to the positive (+) terminal of both batteries. One end of the black cable from the kit to connect the negative
(-) Terminal of the auxiliary battery, and the other - a properly grounded point triggered by a vehicle (for example, a bolt or bracket on the engine block). Make sure the wires do not touch the fan blades, belts, and other moving parts of the engine.

Start the car, and then, leaving the engine running at idle, turn the motor voltmeter heater (the maximum speed) and rear window heater to smooth out surges that may occur when disconnecting wires (do not include lighting as sharp voltage spikes can cause burn out bulbs). Disconnect, acting in the reverse order of their connection.

Connect the wires to start the vehicle from the auxiliary power in the order shown in the accompanying illustration numbers (note that the cable from the negative terminal of the auxiliary battery is not connected to the negative terminal of low battery).
