Flywheel

If the clutch is removed, check the flywheel and ring gear teeth of his. Since the ring gear can not be replaced separately, it is necessary to replace the entire flywheel. If the contact surface looks good, it should be well rounded with sandpaper. Removing the small, visible traces of soot.

Before you screw the handwheel again, check his heartbeat. This is done with a dial indicator as shown in the illustration.

Check flywheel runout on the friction surface.

With slow rotation of the flywheel indicator needle should not move more than 0.2 mm. Otherwise, the flywheel must be replaced, as the deformed contact surface has a negative impact on the work of adhesion. When ordering, be sure to specify the new flywheel engine power, as not all models have identical flywheels. Tighten the flywheel bolts with a force of 83 - 93 N ??? m.
