Rear wishbones



Withdrawal

Fastening parallel arms shown in The illustration does not show a stabilizer, which is described in a separate section. All mounting arm must be tightened with the vehicle wheels on the ground. This means that the rear wheels should start at the pier or the car should stand on the lift platform.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Replace the back of the car on supports. Engage first gear or reverse gear, the car could not get off the supports.
  2. Remove the rear wheels.
  3. Unscrew the nut on the end of the stabilizer bar on the relevant side of the car and remove the elements are on the bar.
  4. Remove the bolt and nut arm on the outside of the hub and open the connection.
  5. On the inner side of the arm, remove the bolt and nut on the body and remove the wishbone. Since the convergence of the rear wheels is adjusted rear wishbone, head bolts and adjusting the scale should be marked punch before loosen the nut and bolt to clear.

Setting

Although wishbone bushing can be replaced independently, yet this work should be carried out in the workshop Nissan, or at least in a workshop where there is news. Both sleeves are replaced by removing and installing.

Set wishbone in reverse sequence to removal, taking into account the following points:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the wishbones on the inside, drive screws and set the washers and nuts. Align the bolt heads on the labeling in order to establish previous toe.
  2. Install the wishbones on the holder of the hub, and secure image of the item.
  3. Install the stabilizer bar in accordance with Section anti-roll bar.
  4. Lower the car on wheels and several times to swing back.
  5. Tighten wishbones in the supports. Tightening torques of internal and external fixings are the same. Tighten all screws with a force of 110 - 130 N ??? m while holding bolts. Be careful not to crank the screws on the inside.
  6. Attach the anti-roll bar. Tighten the nut with a force of 42 - 48 N ??? m.
  7. Check the angles of the rear wheels and adjust as described in Section angles for the rear axle. As already mentioned, the toe of the rear wheels can be adjusted by bolts on the inner side of the transverse arms.
