Fuel Injection System
Cars equipped with the system of direct electronic fuel injection ECCS, control and ignition timing.
A fuel pump disposed in the tank supplies the fuel through the filter (mounted on the bulkhead) in the distributor at a constant pressure. Stabilizing the fuel pressure at the outlet of the distributor is provided with a pressure regulator.
The structure of the fuel injection system consists of a control unit and the following sensors:
- The gauge of turn throttle; - Coolant temperature sensor; - Measuring a flow rate; - Crank sensor; - Vehicle speed sensor; - Power-steering pressure sensor; - The gauge of exhaust gases.
The processing unit compares the incoming data and generates signals that control the nozzles, the composition of the mixture and ignition timing.
Automatic stabilization of idling bypass air valve is provided, controlled by the processor unit.
In the throttle body provides automatic increase of idling the engine is cold, which is controlled by a thermostatic valve. As the engine warms the working fluid expands valve by moving the valve plug, which in turn acts on the cam roller throttle, thereby covering flap.
The injection system is also provided a solenoid valve correct idle speed when the engine load increases (for example, when the power steering or air conditioner). A warning On a part of cars, this valve is installed without connection (inactive).
On vehicles with a catalytic converter processing unit also controls EMISSION.
The control unit has a function "Bounce protection", which in the case of failure of one sensor provides transmission control simulating backup scheme that allows the movement to continue, albeit with degraded performance parameters. In this case, the instrument panel warning lamp lights up, and the fault is encoded and stored in the memory unit.
At fire of a control lamp of a car to be put into service Car Dealer. A warning The control unit provides the function of self-diagnosis, which provides independent code reading failure.
