Throttle damper
Check
Lower the damper rod deep into the damper throttle and check that the stock went down slowly, then release the stem and make sure that he quickly returned to its original position. If not, the damper throttle valve must be replaced.
Replacement
| PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. On models with the carburettor engine, unscrew the two screws and remove the throttle damper side of the carburetor. | | 2. On models with electronic fuel injection, unscrew and remove the fixing nut of a damper throttle body mounting bracket throttle body. | | 3. Installation is spent upside-down removals. After installation, start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. Leaving the engine running at idle, ask the assistant slowly depress the accelerator pedal and watch the damper throttle. Note the speed of the motor at which the adjustment screw touches the rod end of the damper. This should happen at 2,500 ?� 200 r / min. If adjustment is necessary, loosen the locknut and turn the adjusting screw as necessary. Recheck the speed at which the adjusting screw concerns damper rod, and tighten the lock nut when the screw is properly adjusted. |
