Dismantle and engine major repairs

This guide details the order of execution of such works as the dismantling of the power unit from the car and repair the cylinder head, cylinder block / crankcase, crankshaft and other engine parts.

Give advice on the preparation and organization of work on major repairs and purchase of spare parts and detailed procedures for removing, maintenance checks, repair and installation of components and engine parts.

Starting with the description of the following section is carried out in the assumption that the engine is removed from the vehicle. Description repairs without removing the engine from the car, as well as the procedure for removal and installation of the external engine components and assemblies required to perform the overhaul, refer to the appropriate sections.
