| 1. Disconnect the connector at the top of the crankcase, and check the connection between the sensor terminals. |
| 2. Contact sensor should be closed only if the neutral position of the lever. |
| 3. Otherwise, check the wiring. |
| 4. If the wiring is OK, replace the sensor. |
| 5. To remove the sensor, lift the rear of the car and establish on supports, drain the oil from the checkpoint. |
| 6. Disconnect sensor from harness. |
| 7. Remove the sensor. |
| 8. Clean the threads of the crankcase and lubricate the threads of the new sensor sealant. |
| 9. Replace the sensor. |
| 10. Tighten the sensor and attach the connector. |
| 11. Lower the car, pour oil into the checkpoint. |
