The sensor neutral position



Location Sensor

The sensor (installed only in vehicles with catalytic converter) is screwed into the bottom of the transaxle housing on the right side.

Check, removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the connector at the top of the crankcase, and check the connection between the sensor terminals.
2. Contact sensor should be closed only if the neutral position of the lever.
3. Otherwise, check the wiring.
4. If the wiring is OK, replace the sensor.
5. To remove the sensor, lift the rear of the car and establish on supports, drain the oil from the checkpoint.
6. Disconnect sensor from harness.
7. Remove the sensor.
8. Clean the threads of the crankcase and lubricate the threads of the new sensor sealant.
9. Replace the sensor.
10. Tighten the sensor and attach the connector.
11. Lower the car, pour oil into the checkpoint.
