Fusible link - an overview
Fuses are designed to protect the jumper circuit with high current overload. Jumpers are used in high-current circuits that protect ordinary fuse is impossible (for example in the ignition circuit, etc.). Jumpers are mounted near the battery terminals to get the jumper must be disconnected connectors on both sides (see photo). If the fault occurred in a circuit or group of circuits and fuses the individual circuits are OK, then check the condition of the bridge. Molten replace jumper after setting the cause of the fault.
