Sensor processing unit
Motor temperature sensor Check 1. The sensor needs to be checked when the engine is started and is difficult in case of code 13 in the self-diagnosis (see. Above).
9.2 Check the motor temperature sensor
2. If the engine does not start, and there are clear signs of incomplete combustion of fuel, then disconnect the connector and then try to run. If the engine does not start, remove the sensor and check its resistance depending on the temperature (see photo). If resistance differs from norm, replace the sensor. Otherwise, check the sensor circuit. 3. Place the sensor in the reverse order. Checking the exhaust gas temperature sensor 4. The sensor needs to be checked in case of detection code 35 in the self-diagnosis (see. Above). 5. If the cruise control mode, the engine is unstable, then disconnect the connector and check the progress of the car (see photo). 6. If you turn the car has improved, the gauge replace. Otherwise, turn on the ignition and check the voltage at the output terminal, which should be about 5 V (photo).
9.5 Connector Exhaust Temperature Sensor on V6 engines and K24
9.6 Check the voltage between terminal and ground sensor connector
9.7 Circuit Check sensor connector terminals on the weight
9.10 Oxygen sensor connector on the V6 and KS4
9.12 Checking the voltage on the output of oxygen sensor connector
9.13 Check the oxygen sensor circuit to ground on the V6 engines
9.16a air temperature sensor connector on the engines K24
7. Turn off the ignition and check that the chain on the ground (photo). 8. If the voltage is different from 5 or there is an open circuit, then replace the sensor. Check the oxygen sensor 9. The sensor needs to be checked in case of detection code 33 in the self-diagnosis (see. Above). 10. If the cruise control mode, the engine is unstable, then disconnect the connector and check the progress of the car (see photo). 11. If the car has improved the course of the gauge replace. Otherwise finish turns to 2000 rev / min and after 2 minutes, make sure that the processor unit is flashing green signal. 12. On engines V6 with the ignition on, check the voltage between the terminal and the ground terminal A to be about 12 (photo) 13. Turn off the ignition and check that the chain on the ground (photo).
Attention! On engines V6 chain ohmmeter should show a chain between the terminal A and the ground and the engine output between the K24 and the terminal 19 and the connector on the processor unit. |
14. If the voltage is different from 12 or there is an open circuit, then replace the sensor. | 9.16 B Check the voltage on the output air temperature sensor connector |
Checking and replacing the air temperature sensor (on the motor K24) 15. The sensor needs to be checked in case of detection code 41 in the self-diagnosis (see. Above). 16. Open the sensor connector (photo) and when the ignition on, check the voltage between the output terminal and ground to be approximately 5 V (photo). 17. If voltage is correct, turn off the ignition and check the circuit between terminal A and ground. 18. Measure the resistance of the sensor that must be at 20 ? C 2.1 2.9 ohms and at 80 ? C 270 300 ohms. 19. If necessary, remove the sensor from the replacement of the air filter and replace the new one.
