Bleeding brake system

A warning

This operation requires two people, in compliance with safety regulations, as brake fluid is toxic.

Priority pumping:

- The rear right wheel;
- Rear left wheel;
- The front right wheel;
- The front left wheel.

If the work was carried out with only one wheel brake, it is enough just to pump cylinder of the wheel.
A warning

For topping up or replacement use only new brake fluid FMVSS116DOT4.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clean dirt and dust from the air release valve on the wheel, which will be removed from the air.
2. Check and, if necessary, top up the brake fluid in the reservoir.
3. Remove the cap from the valve of release of air and to put on the head of the valve rubber hose to drain the fluid.
4. Dip the end of the hose into a clean glass container partially filled with brake fluid.
5. Rapidly depress the brake pedal 4-5 times (with an interval between pressing 1-2), and then, leaving the pedal depressed, loosen by 1 / 2-3 / 4 turn vent valve. In this case, the liquid flowing out of the hose will be visible air bubbles. After draining fluids from a hose will stop, wrap tightly vent valve and release the brake pedal.
6. Repeat n. 5 until completely stopped bubbling out of the effluent.

A warning

When you remove the air from the brake system should be added to the brake fluid in the reservoir, preventing lowering it below the ?MIN?.

7. Remove the hose, wipe the end of the valve and put on his cap.
8. Upgrade, if necessary, the brakes of other wheels.

A warning

Do not reuse the drained brake fluid when pumping.

If bleeding the brake system performed well enough, then pressing the pedal to the end of its travel will be felt enhanced "soft" pedal.
