Removing and installing the generator

Fixing Generator

1 - the generator;
2 - a bolt of fastening of an arm of the generator;
3 - a bolt of fastening of an adjusting lath;
4 - a bolt of fastening of the generator to the bar;

5 - an adjusting strap;
6 - an arm of the generator;
7 - a bolt of fastening of the generator

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery.

2. Detach the spring mount and remove terminal block electrical wires.

3. Disconnect from the generator wire of "weight", if available.

A warning

Fixing the generator can be of two types: the adjustment strap at the top and the adjustment strap is located at the bottom. The description for the lower position of the adjusting straps. All transactions are similar to the upper position.

4. Loosen the top bolt 7 (see. Fig. Fastening of the generator).

5. Remove the bolt 4.

6. Turn the generator 1 to the engine.

7. Remove the alternator drive belt.

8. Remove the bolt 7.

9. Remove the generator 1.

Setting

Installation of the generator is made in sequence, return to removal, thus it is necessary to adjust the tension of the alternator drive belt (see. Subsection 12.2.6).
