Removing and installing engine
A WARNING If the car is equipped with air conditioning, the engine before removing the need to contact the service station to the appropriate specialist for disconnecting air-conditioning system components. |
Removal of the engine in the following sequence: - Remove the hood body; - Disconnect the wire from the negative first and then from the positive terminal of the battery and remove the battery from the vehicle; - Drain the engine oil; - Drain the manual gearbox, or hydraulic fluid from an automatic transmission and gear oil of the differential; - Drain the cooling liquid; - Remove the front panel of the engine compartment together with the headlights; - Disconnect the wires from the engine cooling fan and remove their attachment to the radiator; - Loosen the clamps and remove the upper and lower hoses from the radiator cooling system; - Remove the radiator to the engine cooling fan; - Disconnect the coolant hoses from the fittings on the engine and from the surge tank of the cooling system; - Remove all elements of the power supply system (intake manifold, throttle cable, electrical connectors throttle position sensor, wiring harness injection system, fuel, coolant hoses and vacuum hoses); - Mark the connection wire harness in the engine compartment; - Disconnect the wires from the coolant temperature, oil pressure, generator, switch the transmission and the vehicle speed sensor, temperature sensor engine oil, starter, central high-voltage wire of the ignition coil, high-voltage wires, distributor ignition, bus connection with "weight" of the head cover cylinders; - Disconnect the heater hose from the bulkhead; - Disconnect the cable of a speedometer from a transmission. For vehicles with manual gearbox: - Disconnect the shift cable to avtomombilyah with manual transmission; - Loosen the coupling bolt the transmission selector lever; - Unscrew the clutch slave cylinder and remove the cylinder from the clutch housing without disconnecting the hose from the cylinder. For vehicles with automatic transmission: - Set the select lever to position "P"; - Disconnect the shift cable from the shift lever; - Remove the bracket cable clamp and remove the cable; - Press a coolant hoses, and then disconnect them from the power of the refrigerator; For all vehicles: - Lift the front of the car and fix it on supports; - Remove the bolt and a pillow with a stretcher; - Unscrew and remove the cover of the right drive shaft; - Remove the bolts, remove the drive shafts from the gearbox shafts and tie to body with wire; - Disconnect a reception exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold; - Remove the power steering pump (vehicles corresponding complete set), without disconnecting from it hoses, and move the pump aside; - Remove the air conditioning compressor (vehicles corresponding complete set), without disconnecting from it hoses, compressor and move to the side; - Lift the engine with manual or electric hoists (or any other lifting mechanism);

- Unscrew the rear right support I (see. Fig. 3.1) of the engine; - Remove the bolt rear left support II; - Unscrew the nut front support III; - Check whether the disconnected all wires and hoses from the engine and gearbox; - Raise the power unit lifting device, so that he was released from the supports; - Remove the power unit from the engine compartment lifting device up and down; - Disconnect the transmission from the engine. Installation of the power unit is carried out in reverse order of removal. Bolts and nuts supports the powertrain torque tighten (see. Sect. 3.1.1) only when it is installed on all the supports and rocking to ensure its proper landing. After installation, adjust the accelerator cable.
