Putty and body painting

When the putty work is necessary to have a flexible plastic or nylon spatula. Leveling putty on the damaged area of the body is manufactured to give it the desired shape and smoothness. Once able to achieve approximately demanded contour, stop to smooth down with a spatula putty, since too long smoothing down it starts to harden, stick to the trowel and roll. The application of the following, a thinner layer of putty should be carried out after drying the previous layer and so as long as the level of filler starts slightly above the level of the treated area. After curing putty it is necessary to remove the excess metal scraper or a file. Further processing is carried out using a set of sandpaper. Begin treatment using coarse sandpaper and then gradually move on to the fine. Sandpaper should be fixed on a flat wooden block to achieve the maximum level the surface being treated. At the final stage of polishing waterproof sandpaper periodically moisten with water. This gives special treatment surface smoothness. Stopper dent should appear surrounded on perimetre a layer of pure metal. To remove dust from the treated area and fats wash it with water and wipe with a degreasing solution. Plated apply a portion of a thin layer of light soil. This will help identify all defects admitted at processing. Discovered defects align with a new layer of putty and re-treat the surface with sandpaper. Continue this procedure until a perfect surface.
Thereafter, the final surface is ready for painting. Aerosol paint application should be conducted in a warm, dry, windless atmosphere in the absence of dust. To do this, wet the floor of the working area with water. At coloring only one panel, and the rest of the body must be covered from hit on them paints paper affixed with adhesive tape. Before priming, shaking the container, apply primer to the sample surface and have to lay it evenly. Get a thick layer of primer application of several thin layers. Grind the primed surface with waterproof sandpaper. Do not forget to spray the area with water and sanded periodically moisten with water sandpaper. Before the further coloring dry the treated area. Applying a layer of paint spray gun is held. The thickness of the ink layer is achieved by applying several thin layers. The color should be started from the center of the painted area and to move to the edges of the back-and-forth motions until then, until the entire surface as well as about 20 mm round it will not be painted. The protective film and paper, remove after 10-15 minutes after the last coat of paint. Allow fresh paint to harden for at least two weeks, and then using the updater paint or thin abrasive polishing paste align the edges of the painted area to the level of the old paint. Polish the surface.
