Stops tailgate

Removal in the following order:

- Open the rear door and lock it in the open position, with additional stops;

- Remove the retainer 3 (Fig. 16.21);

- Disconnect the upper ball joint stop;

- Lift without removing the cap 4 of the bottom spherical hinge joint and remove the connection.

If the emphasis is defective, it must be replaced.

Stops - gas-filled, so their utilization should produce dealer VW.

Installation spend to sequences, return to removal.

Make sure that the focus firmly fixed ball joint, and finally check the operation of the rear door.
