Assembly and installation
The assembly and installation of the steering column spend to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following points. When assembling the upper end of the steering shaft compress the gasket clamping spring on the shaft so that the spring was completely compressed.

Ensure that the steering shaft normally exposed to the housing of the steering column, with the small protrusion on the steering shaft must be aligned with the hole on the housing of the steering column (Fig. 11.8). If necessary, pull the steering shaft to the stop. To install the new steering wheel on the car early release should be using the nuts of the steering wheel put on the splined part of the steering column bushing (additional parts). It is necessary to screw the nut to the end of the thread.

Remove the nut, the washer 3 mm thick (more spare) and tighten the bushing nut of the steering wheel (see. Fig. 11.2). Turn the ignition switch on the steering column. Tighten bolts and nuts to torque.

When replacing the steering wheel, make sure that the gap between the surface of the steering wheel and switch on the steering column of 2-4 mm (Fig. 11.9). Check steering operation and the steering column switch.
