Fuel injectors

A warning

When testing the operation of fuel atomizers never substitute hands or any part of the body under the stream of fuel coming out of the nozzle. Fuel exits the injector at high pressure can penetrate into the body through the skin. It is recommended to charge a specialist work to verify the nozzles under pressure.


To determine the faulty injector, make sure that the engine is serviceable also compression level is identical in all cylinders.

Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.

Loosen the union nut on the fuel injector being audited. Note whether the changed engine speed.

At serviceable fuel injector will be a marked reduction in engine speed, accompanied by his uneven work. If the checked atomizer is faulty, change of turns of the engine will be insignificant and disappear if present earlier, extraneous knock.

The presence of a faulty fuel injector indicate the following deviations in engine work:

- Gaps in the cylinder;
- Knock on one or more cylinders;
- Engine overheating;
- Reduction of engine power;
- From the exhaust pipe is thick black smoke;
- Increase in fuel consumption;
- Blue smoke when starting a cold engine.

When using fuel injectors, observe cleanliness.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clean the area around the fuel injectors and fuel lines connecting nuts.
2. Unscrew connecting nuts and remove the high pressure in the set.
3. Unscrew holders of fuel injectors and remove the fuel injectors from the engine.
4. Remove the Heat protective O-ring.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. When installing the fuel injectors need to use the new Heat protective O-ring. The ring must be installed so that the tapered side facing upwards, see. Fig. Heat protective sealing ring.
2. Install the fuel injectors.
3. Attach the fuel injector, thus be correctly positioned on the support bracket

4. Install the fuel high pressure and screw coupling nut, having tightened their moment of 25 Nm.
