Removal and installation of servo-leveling, headlamp manufacturer - Valeo



NOTE
The figure below shows replacement of servo adjustment of the left headlight.
Replacement servo the right headlight is similar.

Withdrawal
Remove the headlamp.
Remove the cap 3.

2 Remove the retaining bolt and lift the housing 1 (Fig. 7.63).

Remove the pinion 1 of its mounting hole upwards (Fig. 7.64).

NOTE
When removing the gear note not to lose the small O-ring.

Disconnect the connector 2.
Unlock servo-leveling 1 in the direction of B.
Carefully push the ball head of the servomotor And back out of its guide.

Remove the servo motor 1 from its mount up (Fig. 7.65).

Fully insert the servo motor 1-leveling in the unlocked position in its holder (Fig. 7.66).
Lock the servo-leveling 1 by turning the stop in the direction B (Fig. 7.65).
Carefully push the ball head of the servomotor And beginning ago.
Finally, carefully insert the ball head in the direction of the servo motor mount 1 (Fig. 7.65).

NOTE
At the same time move the reflector slightly backwards to facilitate the engagement of the ball head to the mount.

Reconnect the connector 2 servo-leveling.
Insert the gear 1 in its mounting hole (Fig. 7.64).
Install the housing 1, 2 bolts securing it, and put on the cover 3 (Fig. 7.63).

NOTE
When installing pay attention to the tight fit of the cap. Ingestion of water lights, headlamp may be spoiled.
