The cooling system is filled with anti-freeze at the factory, it should be left in the system during the first year of operation of the vehicle. If you want to prepare a mixture of antifreeze, when mixed, observe the following ratio. It is recommended to use antifreeze G11 firm Volkswagen, as its chemical composition is specifically designed for this engine. The mixing ratio at various temperatures are:
- Freezing until -25 ? C: 2.25 l antifreeze 3.35 liters of water;
- Freezing until -35 ? C: 2.8 l of antifreeze, 2.8 liters of water.
