It is recommended to use antifreeze G11 firm Volkswagen, as its chemical composition is specifically designed for this engine. The mixing ratio at various temperatures are:

- Freezing until -25 ?� C: 2.25 l antifreeze 3.35 liters of water;

- Freezing until -35 ?� C: 2.8 l of antifreeze, 2.8 liters of water.

Depending on the equipment installed capacity of the cooling system can be increased.
