Details of mounting the power steering pump are shown in Fig. 256. When installing observe all the specified torque.
All shot spring washers and self-locking nuts must be replaced when you install new ones. The pump before installing fill in hydraulic oil G 002 00 and turn the pump pulley a few turns to allow the oil to settle.
When connecting the tube 10 to see to it that it is not twisted. Be sure to replace the O-rings 4 pressure line. Banjo bolt-fitting 5 tightening torque of 30 Nm.
If the pump and the console is removed, then the installation must be tightened fastening in the following order:
- First "fit flush" all of the bolts;
- Tighten to 45 Nm bolt 7, and then the bolts 8, 9 and 11. The bolts 9 and 11 of the same length, the same applies to the bolts 7 and 8.
