Removing the knuckle



To remove the steering knuckle, do the following:

Bolts and nuts to knuckle shock absorber

- Unscrew the nuts of both the knuckle bolts to the shock absorber. Bolts are shown in Fig. 264. Note that the position of the adjustment screw determines the camber, so it is necessary to loosen up their position to note their heads. Carefully knock the bolts. It may be that the landing bolts very tight due to the jamming of the rod bolts. If the bolts have to change, adjust the angles of the wheels;
- To get a screwdriver for mounting lug housing knuckle and take it out of the shock absorber;
- Check screw threads for possible damage during dislodging. In this case, replace the bolts.
