Removing and installing clutch master cylinder



Due to the location of the clutch master cylinder and its removal it is time-consuming because of the need to carry out preparatory work in order to gain access to the clutch master cylinder.
Remove the clutch master cylinder using the following procedure:
- Disconnect the terminals of the battery and remove it. Do not forget to carry a radio security code;

Place the air duct walls and AB (the details are shown in the attachment points by arrows)

- Remove the air line 1 (Fig. 234) and the partition cover 2 AB;

- If installed, remove the holder of an additional block of the relay (Fig. 235, arrows 1 and 2);
- Remove the bolts (see. Fig. 235, arrow 3) and remove the cover of the rechargeable battery cooling system expansion tank. Put the tank aside;
- Disconnect the hose from the intake manifold. Collect leaking liquid;

- Insert a small screwdriver under the locking collar 9 (see. Fig. 232) the pipeline and press it in the desired direction (Fig. 236, arrow). Disconnect the pipe from the master cylinder and remove the O-ring seal 10 (see. Fig. 232);
- Remove the cover blocks the clutch pedal;

- Insert a screwdriver in place of the clutch pedal (Fig. 237) to the pusher;
- Pull the clutch pedal a little bit in the direction of the seat. Use a screwdriver to push both sides of the pedal mounting inside (first one side, then the other), and bring them out of the engagement;
- Remove the pedal, hitting her in the direction of the chair. If it is contained, it can be pulled in the same direction;
- Remove the bolt 6 (see. Fig. 232) of fastening and remove the clutch master cylinder.
Install the clutch master cylinder spend in the reverse order of removal. First, put the holder at the end of the pusher rod pusher. For fixing the pusher to push it towards the front wall as long as the fastening snaps. Move the plunger back and forth to make sure it is properly installed.
After installing the clutch master cylinder bleed the hydraulic drive clutch.
