Installing toothed belt and adjusting the drive gazorasprede--inflammatory mechanism

The top figure shows the mounted on the camshaft adjustment gauge 1. The figure below shows how to be located flywheel TDC
Fig. 415. The upper figure shows the mounted on the camshaft adjustment gauge 1. The figure below shows how to be located flywheel TDC

When installing a new drive belt or re-installing the old belt, first make sure that the flywheel is in the position shown in Fig. 415.
Remove the bolt 1/2 turn camshaft sprocket (not turning the shaft) and strike it with a plastic or rubber hammer to loosen the conical landing gear on the shaft. Using an old drive belt to install it in accordance with the note relative to the direction of movement.
Screw the guide roller toothed belt (25 Nm) and remove the stop pin of the gear pump.

Installation of the timing belt. Note the coincidence of labels on a tension roller (box with an arrow in the figure). Instead, a special tool can be used to remove the beveled Clippers snap rings
Fig. 419. Setting the toothed belt. Note the coincidence of labels on a tension roller (box with an arrow in the figure). Instead, a special tool can be used to remove the beveled Clippers snap rings: 1 - ball bearing; 2 - a special tool or wire cutters to remove the snap rings; 3 - a tension roller; 4 - locking pin

Inspect the tension roller. It has a rib and a groove, which should coincide with each other. In Fig. 419 shows how the belt at this stage of the installation.
Now click on the tension roller tongs snap ring against the spring tension (line 3 in Fig. 419) and tighten the tension wheel nut torque of 20 Nm.
Secure the camshaft gear in a fixed position and tighten the bolt to 45 Nm.
Remove adjusting gauge on the other side of the engine.
Reinstall all the details. Or lifted again place the vehicle on the ground in order to be able to reach the individual parts.
Rotation of the crankshaft pulley turn the engine on two complete revolutions. Then check whether the still TDC.
After adjusting the drive belt check the injection timing.
Install the lower timing belt protection (3 screws).
Screw the crankshaft pulley with vibration damper on the gear drive camshaft and tighten the four bolts to 25 Nm. This dowel pin on the gear wheel of the crankshaft must enter the hole in the vibration damper. When tightening the connections fix the crankshaft in a fixed position (you can turn the transmission).
Install top toothed belt protection. It shall enter into the groove bottom protection.
Install the belt drive and V-belt power steering pump and adjust the tension.

Remove the bolts 1 and 2
Fig. 393. Remove the bolts 1 and 2

Reinstall the clamp suspension front engine mount (large bolt tightening torque 58 Nm, small bolts to 23 Nm) and engine mounting. In Fig. 393 shows the engine mount bracket from the front.
