If the flange has been unscrewed, it is necessary to replace the O-ring disposed on the inner side of the flange. To clear the old O-ring, place the flange on the vise (Fig. 434) Press in new sealing ring.
To install the seal rings set first shaft and then Press fit sealing ring as was described for the front oil seal crankshaft. The bolts in the assembly should be tightened to 25 Nm.
Set the gear on the intermediate shaft so that the wedge entered keyway. With this gear is installed in the correct position.
Insert the bolt and washer, and tighten the bolt while holding the gear stationary (by inserting a mandrel into the hole on the gear and Abut mandrel into the surface of the cylinder) to 45 Nm.
The remaining operations are carried out in sequence, return to removal process.
