Distributor. The coil (s) of ignition
At the 2.0-liter engine distributor mounted in the cylinder block and is driven by an intermediate shaft. At the bottom of the distributor is a Hall sensor, and in the upper part of the distributor is the distribution of electricity on the spark plugs with the help of the slider. However distributor "controlled" by electronic means. On the 2.0-liter engine features one coil, which ensures the supply of current to the spark plug in the sequence 1-3-4-2 at the right time. In VR6 engine ignition timing is provided by a high voltage transformer mounted on the cylinder head. High-voltage transformer is required for operation of spark ignition coils and controlled by static working "electronic components". This system also uses the Hall sensor working on the camshaft. ECU constantly receiving data from the sensor on the speed of the camshaft performs timing adjustments relative speed of the camshaft.
