Installing the crankshaft

Install the crankshaft should be carried out in the following order:

Elements of the crankshaft and main bearings
Fig. 82. Elements of the crankshaft and main bearing: 1 - a bolt bearing caps; 2 - covers of radical bearings (main bearing ?1 - from the shock absorber); 3 - main bearing shells; 4 - persistent half ring bearing adjusting number 5; 5 -kolenchaty shaft; 6 - ring gear speed sensor; 7 - flywheel; 8 - a bolt of fastening of a flywheel is always a substitution; 9 - a bolt of toothed rim; 10 -regulirovochnaya puck in the cylinder block bearing number 5; 11 - bearing cylinder. Toothed rim 6 speed sensor should always be changed if it is removed

- Set on the crankshaft gear rim 6 (see. Fig. 82) the speed sensor with a new bolt 9;
- Set the tube in the oil passages main bearing number 2 and 7, and with a sharp punch fix them;
- Wipe the blind holes in the sockets of the cylinder and place, oiled bearing shells (grooved for grease) so that the projections included in the inserts blind holes;
- Insert into the slot average crankshaft bearing (bearing number 5) persistent half rings;

A warning
Thrust half-ring grooves should be directed to the surface friction of the crankshaft.

- Place the bearing shells in the crankshaft. If the rods are in the cylinder block, install the connecting rod bearings on the crankshaft journals;
- Attach the lower liners (without oil grooves) in the respective main bearing caps (protrusions in the recesses) and abundantly lubricate the surface of engine oil;
- Lubricate with engine oil and install the lining out, the other two resistant rings on the bearing cap. Lubricating grooves have to be arranged against the crankshaft;
- Install the crankshaft bearing caps and their lightly Tap the rubber or plastic hammer;
- In several stages, tighten bolts of covers of bearings, starting from the middle, a torque of 30 Nm. Then turn each screw a further half turn. After tightening bearing cap rotate the crankshaft several times to make sure it rotates easily, without jamming;
- Check the free running of the centerline of the crankshaft (see. P. 2.6.1);
- Establish pistons and rods (see. P. 2.4.6);
- Set the front and rear crankshaft oil (para. 2.6.4);

A warning
Front and rear crankshaft oil should be changed after each removal of the crankshaft or flange seals.

- Lubricate the bearing journal of the intermediate shaft, install shaft and tighten the bolts with a torque of 10 Nm;

Removing the drive shaft of the oil pump
Fig. 79. Remove the drive shaft of the oil pump

- Set the drive shaft of the oil pump with a new sealing ring (see. Fig. 79);
- Set and adjust the timing, including the chain of the intermediate shaft (see. P. 2.7.2);

Elements of the rear side of the engine
Fig. 85. Elements of the rear of the engine 1 - a cover of the gland; 2 - a bolt, 25 Nm; 3 - bolt 10 Nm; 4 - gland; 5 - flywheel; 6 - a bolt of fastening of a flywheel; 7 - the clutch plate; 8 - clutch pressure plate; 9 - bolt clutch 20 Nm; 10 - bolt 10 Nm

- Lock the engine and set the flywheel 5 (Fig. 85) on the crankshaft. Tighten the new bolts 6 and tighten them to a torque of 70 Nm, then turn each screw another quarter turn;
- Set the clutch (see. Sect. 8.3) and tighten the screws 9 (see. Fig. 85) Clutch pressure plate 8 to 20 Nm;
- Install the oil pump (see para. 3.2.2.);
- Put a new gasket on the sealant and install the oil sump. Bolts sump tighten to 20 Nm.
All further work was carried out in the reverse sequence of disassembly.
