Replacing the oil seal on the side of the crankshaft vibration damper



Withdrawal
Remove the soundproofing screen.
Remove the timing belt.
Remove the central bolt 2 of the pinion gear belt on the crankshaft 1 and remove gear from the crank pin of the crankshaft.
Then remove the seal using the hook T20143 / 1.

Remove the thrust washer from the crank pin of the crankshaft and thrust ring mark on the front side (Fig. 2.97) a waterproof marker.

Setting
Remove the remaining oil on the crank pins and thrust washers with a clean cloth.

Press in the new oil seal to stop using tool T40007 (Fig. 2.98).
Turn the thrust ring and put it on the crankshaft crank pin so that the mark left by felt-tip pen, point to the engine.
Install the belt drive gear on the crankshaft and fasten it with a new central bolt.
Torque: 200 Nm + 1/2 turn. (180 ?�).
Install the timing belt.
Install the serpentine belt.
Install the front screen proofing.
