HELPFUL HINTS The surge tank cap has two valves: inlet and outlet. Exhaust valve plays an important role in ensuring optimum temperature of the engine. It maintains the system overpressure less 0.13-0.15 MPa (1.3-1.5 kg / cm 2), providing a temperature increase start boiling and coolant vapor formation preventing intensive. Unfortunately, when jamming of the valve in the closed position when there is a significant excess of overheating overpressure - greater than 0.15 MPa (1.5 kgf / cm 2), which may lead to rupture of the expansion tank or breakdown of one of the hoses. In turn, the jamming of the valve in the open position causes premature boiling of the coolant.
