Disassembly of the engine

You will need: the keys "12", "14", "17", "19", "32" face head "13", the tools needed to remove water and oil pumps, cylinder head, screwdriver, hammer, puller oil filter device for pressing out the gudgeon pin or a suitable mandrel, pliers.

HELPFUL ADVICE
If possible, work on a special swivel stand that provides access to the engine on all sides, as the engine is very hard to capture from moving when loosening fasteners tightened big moment.

1. Remove the engine from the vehicle (see. "Removing and installing the engine").
2. Remove the starter motor (see. "Removing and installing starter").
3. Remove the generator (see. "Removing and installing the generator").
4. Disconnect from the engine gear box by removing the screws fastening it to the engine (see. "Removing and installing transmission").
5. Remove the clutch with flywheel (see. "Removing and installing clutch").
7. Remove the timing (see. "Replacing and adjusting the tension of the timing belt and its replacement by a tension roller") and the back cover (see. "Removing and installing oil pump").
8. Remove the cylinder head (see. "Replacing cylinder head gasket").
9. Having hooked a screw-driver, remove the jack cylinder crankshaft rear oil seal.
10. Remove the oil sump (see. "Replacement of the seal oil sump") ...
11. ... oil receiver, oil pump and installed underneath the gasket (see. "Removing and installing oil pump") ...
12. ... the water pump (see. "Replacement of the water pump") ...
13. ... and the oil filter (see. "Replacing the engine oil and oil filter").
14. Remove the two mounting bolts of the generator and remove the bracket.
15. Remove the two screws on the crankcase ventilation pipe system ...
16. ... and remove the tube and mounted underneath the pad.
17. Remove the two screws on the water distribution pipes ...
18. ... loosen the hose clip tube to the nozzle of the cylinder ...
19. ... and remove the water distribution pipe.

HELPFUL ADVICE
When disassembling the crank mechanism and piston group mark pistons, connecting rods, bearings and connecting rod bearings indigenous to the assembly to install them on the same place, if they are efficient.

20. Remove the two screws on the cover of any of the cylinder rod.
21. Slide the rod with seat light hammer blows through the wooden prorate ...
22. ... and remove the liner.

A WARNING
On the cover and a rod applied conditional marking (an icon in the form of a square and the figure). When assembling the engine number and the symbol must be located on one side. However, the connecting rod and cap is not marked with the numbers of cylinders. Be sure to mark them in any way possible (for example, punching), at assemblage to establish on former places as interchangeable covers of rods (rod treated with a lid).

23. Press the wooden bar (hammer handle) to the connecting rod ...
24. ... and remove the piston rod of the cylinder in the direction of the upper surface of the cylinder.
25. Similarly, remove the pistons and rods of other cylinders, cranking the engine for access to bolts of covers of rods.

HELPFUL ADVICE
Rotate the crankshaft key for flats on the front end.

26. Remove the two screws on each main bearing cap.
27. Separate the cover from the seat of light hammer blows through the wooden prorate ...
28. ... and remove the cover from the bottom liner.

A WARNING
Main bearing caps are designed for only one specific cylinder (the cover is treated with the unit). Between an interchangeable cover. On the covers marked with a number corresponding to the order of their installation, starting from the front of the engine (on the cover of the fifth main bearing no number). Cast on the covers of letters ?BK? during the installation should be directed to the left side of the engine.

29. Remove the rest of the crankshaft bearing caps and remove crankshaft.
30. Remove the inserts from all rods ...
31. ... and with their lids ...
32. ... with the main bearing caps ...
33. ... and all beds in the cylinder block.

NOTE
The liner of the third main bearing caps extra thick and has a lateral ends of shoulders, playing the role of persistent half rings, limiting axial movement of the crankshaft.
Similar beads are made at the top and insert the third main bearing.

34. Lift the top compression ring and remove it.
35. Similarly remove the second (lower) compression ring.
36. Lift the top and remove the ring ...
37. ... extender ...
38. ... and the lower ring of the composite oil ring.
39. Extract the finger from the top bosses of the piston and connecting rod.

NOTES
Do not heat the rod before pulling out the finger.
In order to avoid damage to the piston using a finger when pressing out wooden spacers as shown in the photograph
HELPFUL ADVICE
Mark the details. If they are not damaged and a little worn, they can be used by installing in its place.
