Removing and installing transmission



You will need: the keys "12", "14", "19".
2. If the gearbox take off for repair, drain the oil from it (see. "Changing the oil in the gearbox").
3. Remove the front wheel drive of the gearbox (see. "Removing and installing front wheel drive").
4. Mark in any way (such as paint) the relative position of the tip and pull the shift lever to maintain adjustment of the drive at the back of the installation box.
5. Loosen the screw clamp, terminal control transmission gear selection ...
6. ... and disconnect rod tip and the gear lever.
7. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the speed sensor ...
8. ... and from the reverse gear switch.
9. Remove the two nuts bracket bolts clutch slave cylinder by holding the bottom bolt from turning the second key.
10. Move aside the clutch slave cylinder assembly from the bracket and hose.
11. Establish a support under the engine oil sump, using a section of the board as a spacer.
12. Establish a support under the transmission and remove the three bolts of the bracket left Front Mount the power unit to the gearbox.
13. Remove the two screws securing the support to the side member of the body (see. "Replacement of support of the power train") and remove the support assembly from the bracket.
14. Remove the two screws on the box to the cylinder block under the water distribution pipe ...
15. ... screw located near the oil filter ...
16. ... and the four bolts (turn-key "14") fixing the oil sump to the gearbox housing.
17. Remove the bolts the gearbox to the engine block, located next to the starter ...
18. ... and close to the eye the gearbox mounting bracket for the clutch slave cylinder.
19. Remove the two screws on the back support of the power unit to the body (see. "Replacement of support of the power train") ...
20. ... and remove the gearbox from the vehicle with the rear suspension support of the power unit.

A WARNING
Do not rely on the input shaft end of diaphragm spring clutch, so as not to deform them.

21. Set the transmission in reverse order of removal.

HELPFUL ADVICE
Before installing gearbox, apply a thin layer of grease to the input shaft spline part.

22. Fill the gearbox oil (see. "Changing the oil in the gearbox", p. 139), if it is drained before removing the box.
23. Adjust drive control mechanism of a gear change (see. "Adjusting the drive transmission control").
