Parking brake



1 - the parking brake lever;
2 - an adjusting nut;
3 - the parking brake cable.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the rear console.
2. Turn the adjusting nut and remove the parking brake cable.
3. Remove parking brake switch.
4. Remove the parking brake lever.
5. Remove the wheel.
6. Remove the brake drum.
7. Remove the brake pads.
8. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the lever on the brake pads.
9. Remove the clamp securing the parking brake cable sheath to a brake board.
10. Remove the rear seat cushion.
11. Loosen the clamp on the parking brake cable and remove it from the vehicle.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the operation of the parking brake switch.
2. Check the parking brake lever ratchet for wear.
3. Make sure the parking brake cable for wear or damage.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the markings on the left and right parking brake cable and install in its place.
2. Move the parking brake lever on the brake pad all the way back and install spring.
3. Install the sealing ring in the direction shown in the figure.
4. Apply the recommended grease the ratchet and pawl ratchet parking brake lever.

Recommended lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI ?��2

5. After installation, adjust the compensator move the parking brake lever.
