Toothed belt



1 - a bolt, 20-27 N ??? m;
2 - a spring tension mechanism;
3 - roller tension the timing belt;

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the bolt of a pulley of the water pump.
2. Loosen the bolt of the generator.
3. Remove the water pump pulley and the belt.
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
5. Remove the cover of a gear belt.
6. Move the roller tension the timing belt to the water pump and temporarily secure it in this position.
7. Remove the bolt camshaft pulley.
8. Remove the camshaft pulley.
9. Remove the timing belt.

A warning

Note the direction of rotation of the toothed belt to be reinstalled in its original position.


10. Remove the bolt of the crankshaft pulley. Remove the crankshaft pulley and sleeve.
11. Remove the roller mechanism of a tension of a gear belt.

Check

A warning

Strongly do not bend a gear belt or change its direction of rotation. Do not allow oil and lubricant to come into contact with toothed belt, as it will lead to its destruction.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the toothed belt for damage, wear, separation, cracks in the teeth and at the base of teeth, and the defects at the ends and back of the belt.
2. If you have the following defects, replace the timing belt.

9. The cracks on the side of the toothed belt

Pulleys and pulley mechanism of a tension of a gear belt

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft, the roller tensioner and idler pulley to the absence of uneven wear, cracks or damage.
2. Check the ease and smoothness of rotation of the roller tensioner and idler pulley, and the absence of background noise during rotation.

Install the timing belt tensioner

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Temporarily fix the timing belt tensioner in the retracted position, as close as possible to the water pump.
2. After installing the tensioning mechanism adjusting labels on pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft should be combined with indexes.
Rotate the crankshaft so that the piston of the first cylinder established at TDC in the compression stroke.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

A warning

Ensure that the sleeve is installed correctly, with a chamfer should be on the front side of the engine.


1. When installing a pulley of a camshaft dowel pin should enter hole in the pulley.
2. Install the timing belt so as to prevent it from sagging tension.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the plug and the crankshaft pulley as shown. Pay attention to the direction of installation.

Torque: 140-150 N ??? m

2. Install the camshaft pulley and fix a bolt, having tightened its demanded moment.

Torque: 80-100 N ??? m

3. Align the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft pulley shafts with pointers, and the first cylinder should be set at TDC on the compression stroke.
4. When installing the timing belt tensioner in the first set tension mechanism, spring and spacer. Temporarily tighten the bolts. Then, temporarily tighten the tensioner by inserting a bolt in the elongated hole. Set the rear end of the leaf spring opposite to the front cover, as shown.
5. Secure the tensioning mechanism allotted to the water pump.
6. Install the timing belt on the crankshaft pulley.
7. Install the timing belt on the camshaft pulley, making sure that it is possible slack side tension.
8. Loosen the screws 1 and 2 fastening mechanism of a tension in the sequence shown in the figure, with a spring mechanism unclench toothed belt tension.
9. Tighten the bolts 1 and 2 securing the tension mechanism in the same manner.
10. Turn the clockwise crankshaft two complete revolutions and combine a label on a pulley of a gear belt of a cranked shaft with the index on the engine block. Check that the mark on the camshaft pulley are aligned with the pointer on the cylinder head cover.

A warning

Do not turn the crankshaft counterclockwise.


11. In the same manner, loosen the bolts 1 and 2 fastening mechanism of a tension of a gear belt.
12. Tighten bolts 1 and 2 securing the tension mechanism in the same manner.

Torque: 20-27 N ??? m

13. Recheck the toothed belt tension. By clicking on the stretched arm of a gear belt with a force of 49 N timing belt should cave in to the center of the head bolts tightening mechanism.
14. Replace the timing belt covers.

Torque: 10-12 N ??? m
15. Install the crankshaft pulley.
16. Install fan drive V-ribbed belt and adjust its tension.
17. Install the water pump pulley.
18. Install the V-ribbed belt and adjust its tension.
